Led by Dr. Steven Davidson

Upper Village was created in October 2023 to bring the personal touch back into pet care. Dr. Steven Davidson built the hospital after more than two decades in veterinary medicine, with the belief that excellent care should feel both medically thorough and deeply human.

Being doctor-owned means decisions stay close to the people and pets we serve. It means thoughtful medicine, transparent conversations, and a team that takes the time to know what is normal for your pet before something feels wrong.

Frequently asked questions

What doctor-owned care means at Upper Village Veterinary Hospital

What does doctor-owned veterinary care mean?

It means the hospital is guided by Dr. Steven Davidson's values, clinical judgment, and standards for how pets and people should be cared for. Decisions stay close to the team providing the care.

Will my pet see the same doctor every time?

Continuity is one of our priorities. Whenever possible, we aim to keep your pet with familiar doctors and team members who know their history, personality, and needs.

How is Upper Village different from a larger clinic group?

Our focus is personal, relationship-based care. We take time to explain recommendations, talk through options, and build a long-term understanding of your pet beyond the medical chart.

Do appointments feel rushed?

Our goal is to create calmer, more thoughtful visits where you have time to ask questions and understand the plan. Some visits are more complex than others, but clear communication is always part of the appointment.

How do you approach pricing and recommendations?

We believe pet owners should understand their options before making decisions. We explain what we recommend, why we recommend it, and what costs to expect whenever possible.

Is Upper Village a good fit for lifelong care?

Yes. We designed the hospital to support pets through every stage of life, from puppy and kitten visits to adult wellness, urgent questions, senior care, and end-of-life support.

What should I expect during my first visit?

You can expect a warm introduction, a conversation about your pet's history and routine, a thorough exam, and clear next steps. We want you to leave feeling heard and confident.

Do you still offer full-service veterinary medicine?

Yes. The personal approach is supported by full-service veterinary care, including wellness, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, nutrition guidance, telehealth support, and senior care.
